What this is
The paperwork that makes your Designated Safeguarding Lead official. It covers all three tiers, gives you the terms of reference for yours, and includes appointment letters for both the lead and the backup to sign.
When to use it
Use it when you first appoint, and again whenever your lead or backup changes. Signed copies go into your safeguarding records.
